Get a college degree in less time with your Journey Level US Department of Labor - Bureau of Apprenticeship & Training Certificate!The St. Louis Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Program has an agreement with several College partners which allows a journeyman’s status to be transferred to satisfy part of the College’s core curriculum requirements for an Associate or Bachelor Degree. Contact one of our College partners below to find out how your Journeyman Status can jump-start an advanced degree.
St. Louis Community College at Forest Park will grant up to 34 college credit hours toward your Associate’s Degree after you have completed your US-DOL BAT certificate in carpentry. For more information, call Dave Beal at 314-644-9269.
Jefferson College is offering an Associate’s Degree and will grant up to 45 college credit hours after you receive your US-DOL BAT certificate in carpentry. For more information, call Tom Burke at 636-797-3000.
St. Charles Community College will grant up to 40 college credit hours after you have completed your US-DOL BAT certificate in carpentry. For more information, call 636-922-8241.
Mineral Area College will grant up to 40 college credit hours after you have completed your US-DOL BAT certificate in carpentry. MAC also has a millwright program which is sponsored by The Southeast Missouri Industrial Training Group, located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in which a millwright can earn an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Maintenance upon completion of the Mechanical Curriculum.
